Kinabalu Park
UNESCO TRIPLE CROWN SITE

Kinabalu Park, Malaysia's first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Sabah, is a spectacular natural treasure dominated by the towering Mount Kinabalu (4,095m). It is a global "Centre of Plant Diversity" because its huge change in altitude creates six unique vegetation zones, from tropical rainforests to alpine meadows.
The park is a biodiversity hotspot, home to over 5,000 plant species, including incredible orchids and the enormous Rafflesia flower. Visitors can climb the majestic mountain, explore easy jungle trails, and relax at the Poring Hot Springs (the park's substation, commonly known as a nature reserve). It’s an essential experience for nature lovers!
