Serinsim Park
THE HIDDEN GEM
KINABALU PARK SUBSTATION
KOTA MARUDU DISTRICT

Serinsim Substation is less a typical "park" and more a northern outpost of the famous Kinabalu Park. Located near Kota Marudu, this hidden gem is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers.
It's the official gateway for climbers taking on Mount Nambuyukon, Malaysia's third-highest peak. If a full climb isn't for you, it's also a fantastic spot for camping, river swimming in crystal-clear waters, and jungle trekking to sights like Misumpak Waterfall and the historical tomb of the warrior Sigunting.
This peaceful retreat offers a real slice of undisturbed Borneo rainforest, complete with basic accommodation (via Sabah Parks) for an authentic escape!
